Research Areas: Poverty, Social Security, Economic History of the Republican Period, Public Borrowing, Public Domestic Borrowing in the Republican Period,
Selected Studies: He wrote his Master’s Thesis “Income Distribution Imbalance and Analysis of Factors Affecting the Dimensions of Poverty in Turkey in the Post-1980 Period” and his doctoral dissertations titled Structural Transformation in the Social Security System in Turkey: A Critical Analysis. The Construction of Capitalism and Social Insecurity in Turkey (2012) is his published book. From the Amortization Fund to the State Investment Bank: Deriving Capital from Debt Redemption (2019), Getting Rid of the Sins of the Ottoman Empire: The Republic’s Domestic Debt Set-off (2017), Transferring Workers’ Savings to Capital Turkey and the State Investment Bank Example (2016), The Life of Industrialization in Turkey Suyu Worker Savings (2014), Understanding the Anatomy of 1960s Savings Bills Based on the Private Pension System (2017) are some of the articles and papers.

In 2018, he received his master’s degree with thesis titled “An Integrated Approach to Evaluation of E-Service Quality in Airlines”, and his doctorate in 2022 with thesis titled “Customer Satisfaction and the Effect of Antecedents on Customer Citizenship Behavior: A Cross-Cultural Comparison”. “Application of Fuzzy AHP and Fuzzy MARCOS Approach for the Evaluation of E-Service Quality in the Airline Industry”, “How to Achieve Passenger Satisfaction in the Airport? Findings from Regression Analysis and Necessary Condition Analysis Approaches through Online Airport Reviews”, “The Role of In-Flight Service Quality on Value for Money in Business Class: A Logit Model on the Airline Industry” and “What can we learn from the JATM literature for the future of aviation post Covid-19?-A bibliometric and visualization analysis”.

He took part in the project named “Project Writing Training for PhD Students Studying in Civil Aviation Management and Management/Organization and Marketing” within the scope of TUBITAK 2237 Educational Activities Support Program. His national/international articles, book chapters and papers have been published in various journals and platforms.

Hilal Tuğçe LAPÇIN

 Selected Studies: In 2018, she obtained her Master’s degree with the thesis titled “A study on the determination of managerial values in private airport terminal managers in Turkey”. In 2023, she earned her doctoral degree with the thesis titled “An anaylsis of trust governance mechanism of airline-airport relationship from resource dependency theory and transaction cost theory perspesctives”. Some of her publications include “Modeling regional routes with Greek airlines for flight operations to AOE airport”, “Values that form the business: evidence from airport operations in Turkey”, “Fleet modelling in strategic multi-criteria decision-making of approved training organization from capacity building and resource dependency theory perspective: risk taxonomy methodology”, “Airport Competitive Strengths in Turkey: Primary, Secondary, and Regional Airports”, “Interconnected grid flight network model for corporate sustainability in airlines”, and “Women’s Empowerment Through Entrepreneurship Education: A Case From Aviation”. Her national/international articles, books, book chapters, and conference papers have been published in various journals and platforms.

She participated in the TÜBİTAK 2237 Education Activities Support Program with the projects “Project Writing Training I and II for Ph.D. Students Studying in Civil Aviation Management and Management/Organization and Marketing Fields” and in the TÜBİTAK 4007 Science Festivals Support Program with projects like “From First Step to Science on August 30th”, “Atakum Science Festival”, and in the TÜBİTAK 4004 Nature and Science Schools Program with the project “Aviator Girls Step into Entrepreneurship”.
